Day of the Dead

Michelle Mason just wants to get away from it all. A holiday in the Mexican resort town of Puerto Vallarta offers her a break after the sudden death of her banker husband, who's left behind a scandal and a pile of debt. When a handsome American ex-pat named Daniel approaches her on the beach, the margaritas have kicked in and she decides: why not?

But the date goes horribly wrong, ending with a break-in and an assault on Daniel in her hotel room. Their mobiles are swapped in the melee, and Michelle can't find Daniel after he leaves hospital. Instead, she is harassed by a 'friend' of Daniel's named Gary who begins to blackmail her, drawing her into a world of corrupt policemen, drug lords and the shadiest of venture capitalists.

Michelle knows she's caught in a dangerous trap and that if she's not careful, she'll end up buried in the town dump, with the rest of the trash. Now, she needs to fight smart if she wants to escape her holiday nightmare alive...
