October was the month Helen would go to music college, and Chris to university - now October is the date their baby will be born. Chris cannot think about the baby. He's just desperate not to lose Helen. But Helen turns to the unborn baby - her little Nobody - for reassurance. Locked out from her own mother's thoughts, Helen is determined that she will never be a stranger to their child.
As they sort out their conflicting feelings, Helen and Chris try to make sense of their future - together or apart.
