Department of Voids is an ongoing artwork by benandsebastian that focuses on the role absent objects play in both the imagination and in existing museum collections. benandsebastian is an artist duo established by Ben Clement and Sebastian de la Cour in 2006 with a fifty-year contract of collaboration. This book, which is in ten different languages, was published to accompany a solo exhibition at Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art in Copenhagen and includes texts by twelve museum directors and specialists, together with essays by Cassandra Edlefsen Lasch, Michael Marder, and Ursula K.
