The catalog Diego Rivera, Illustrious Words, 1886-1957 is the result of the exhibition of the same name in the Diego Rivera Studio Museum, dedicated to offer a visual tour of Rivera's reflections on art. It presents the conjunction of a selection of texts and quotations of Rivera and the images made by Rivera himself or by the artists who in one way or another had a place in his memory. Words that illustrate, illustrations that speak, these pages confront moments of the history of art in the vision of a great creator. Diego Rivera , in addition to the exceptional gifts that characterised him as a painter, was the owner of a solid humanistic education that served as support for his vast intellectual reflections.
