Over the last two years, the over-55 seniors have been tagged as the fastest-growing segment of the digital camera market. In response to this, the camera industry has been producing more and more models featuring larger view screens, on board controls rather than controls on screen menus, and less dependence on a PC to encourage even more seniors to adopt this new technology.
