Life is never dull when family and pets come together.
Jo wants a dog more than anything else in the whole wide world. Unfortunately for Jo, her parents do not quite agree. A dog will create too much mess, they say. Jo can play with the rabbit next door, or her budgie, or her kitten, or her stick insect, but a dog is the one thing they won't allow!
But then a very special new arrival to the house helps to put a whole new perspective on things. Who knows, Jo might get her dream dog after all!
