Everyone agrees that the new drama teacher at Sarah Jane's school is a bit strange, but he's also encouraged Sarah Jane in her singing and painting. So when he demands that she paint a mural in his cottage to make up for losing the mask he lent her for the school play, she puts aside her misgivings and agrees.
But why does the cottage look like it's been empty for years? And why does her painting seem to have a life of it's own? Who is really interested in Sarah Jane's talents?
