Elmer is going for a walk when he hears a cry for help. Butterfly is trapped in a hole by a fallen branch but it's an easy matter for Elmer to free her. She promises to repay him if ever he needs her but he cannot imagine how a butterfly could possibly help an elephant. He finds out soon enough, however, when little Butterfly saves the day . . .
