Recently awarded the Florence Nightingale medal by the International Committee of the Red Cross for exceptional courage and devotion to victims of armed conflict and natural disasters, Amanda is a young Australian making big waves in the international aid world.
Amanda started her career nursing in remote Aboriginal communities but later shifted her focus to public and emergency health.
Working with the Australian Red Cross she currently lives in Geneva but works wherever a health epidemic explodes.
