Kieran has a lot of fun with his gran's latest invention- the Anti-Boredom Machine. It's a remote control unit that's just perfect for a speedy kid like Kieran. He can Fast Forward through boring stuff and Pause is great for playing tricks on family and friends.
But after several months and a lot of time on Fast Forward, Kieran's life is out of control. It's going too fast, even for him, and he's in trouble. He wants to stop and rewind.
Where in his life will he end up? Will he be able to change the past and get back to normal? The only thing he knows for sure is that he can't possibly made things worse . . . can he?
