Nancy is the most popular girl in school, lives her life online, and is the number one fan of YouTube boyband Chasing Chords - and their lead singer, Chase.
Nina loves classical music, suffers from anxiety, and doesn't even have a Facebook account.
The girls have grown apart, but when they are forced to spend an evening together in London, it seems like their friendship could be rekindled. But then Nina and Chase meet by chance, and sparks fly. When she realises she's falling for her sister's crush, she rushes off into the night. To find her, Chase enlists the help of his huge online following, using #findthegirl to track her down.
In the ensuing chaos of mistaken identity and crossed wires, the girls discover that the glossy veil of social media is hard to maintain - and that sooner or later the consequences play out IRL.
