After completing his studies he moved to London and then to Paris, where he lived from 1956 to 1968 improving his knowledge of art. Today he is an antique dealer in Milan and a well-known author of books on decorative arts. Aurelie Wannenes, fille d'art and interior decorator, has worked in the family business since 1995 and collaborates with her father in writing books about antiques.
