Salma makes the biggest sandwich. Kahlil can tie his shoelaces. Jun can't wait to learn to count. Stephen is nervous and Penny can't keep still. Alex is concerned for her mother who is going back to school on the same day. The children enjoy stories and dance and make friends, and find that the first day of school can be fun.
