Galle Lamps

Emile Galle was a leading figure of the Art Nouveau movement in France and a multifarious artist. Internationally renowned for his glasswork, his lamps are now highly sought after and widely imitated collector's items. This book is a comprehensive guide to all of the light fixtures created by the Galle cristallerie, from those produced during his lifetime to those manufactured for over twenty-five years after his death in 1904. Then and since, Mr. Duncan has travelled throughout the United States, the Far East, Europe, and South America to appraise, assemble and sell collections from the period.
