For several years Claire de Virieu has been photographing in detail the gardens of some of the world's leading fashion designers. As with the clothes they design, each of their gardens has its own striking individuality and exquisite beauty in terms of planting, landscape and colour.

Some of the gardens are in town, others in country homes which range from England, the United States, France, Italy and Morocco.

Each of the designers is photographed in their favourite place in the garden, and each tells the story behind their garden, which in turn is photographed comprehensively. The result is a book which is full of inspiration for any gardener seeking new ideas for their garden.
