Fifty three striking book jacket designs in full colour, with important dates for life and literature in the year ahead: On 4 May Sherlock Holmes meets Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls; On 15 October Gerard Etienne's body is found in the offices of Peverell Press; On 1 December Marian Halcombe's diary entry reads: 'December 1st. - a sad, sad day that I have no heart to describe at length.'
