As Gwen is drawn deeper into the dark side of magic, she finds herself increasingly isolated. Her friends no longer speak to her, while the half-faerie Michael is vulnerable to the same dark forces that threaten her. Turning back time helps Gwen win back her friends, but when she trades in her magic powers because of Josh, not even Merlin can protect her from the sorceress who takes her place.
