Hallam Foe

Hallam has chosen an unusual teenage hobby: voyeurism. With the help of treehouses, telescopes and a dead badger, he spies on the gardener's sex life, on his sinister father, on his suspicious stepmother - before he is discovered, and set adrift. He moves to Edinburgh's medieval Old Town, where his voyeurism becomes more dangerous, but Hallam is inventive and ceaselessly romantic, and skylights have potential beyond his wildest dreams.
