Kate keeps her house neat and tidy, and her garden filled with fruit and vegetables which she tends busily. So when Bruce builds a shack near her, she is not best pleased. Even worse, he won't listen to her advice, but ignores the weeds multiplying around him while he goes off fishing.
When his shack is blown away in a winter storm, she finds she can't just tell him he deserves it, but takes him in, and feeds him soup.
