From August 2002 to September 2003, Celia Lashlie headed the Good Man Project, a major research project conducted in 24 boys' schools throughout New Zealand to discover what concepts of manhood were held by New Zealand boys in the 21st century and how they can best be helped to successfully negotiate the pitfalls of adolescence.
'He'll Be OK!' is the culmination of Celia's research findings framed with her own experiences as a mother - and prison manager who sees the end result when the process goes badly wrong. Celia has applied the laser-sharp insight and no-nonsense perception revealed in her hugely successful and influential first book, 'Journey To Prison', to the issues uncovered by the study.
