This is the third book in the Highland Journal series. Some of the chapters record days of high adventure, such as the crossing of the Carn Mor Dearg Arete but there are gentler days on Jack's 'Hills of Home' in Angus, Wester Ross and Assynt; days when the focus is on the author's passion for the rocks, plant life and wild creatures of the Highlands.
