This volume includes in their entirety three collections of the work of Bo Carpelan, the Finnish poet - "The Cool Day", "The Courtyard" and "Years Like Leaves". Carpelan received the Nordic Literature Prize in 1977, and in 1980 was appointed Professor Artium by Finland's President.
