Expect more scrapes and japes, and a whole host of new characters in this second instalment of the Further Adventures of Eddie Dickens.
In this, the second of his Further Adventures, Eddie Dickens is unaware that he is, Eddie Dickens, that is. Following a nasty accident, he's lost his memory, believing himself to be someone called Neddy (which is actually the name of the baby he and Even Madder Aunt Maud found in the bulrushes). Taken in by monks with appalling dress sense - hence the title - he's also forgotten that his father, Mr Dickens, has been the victim of his own accident (a fallen chimney pot). Things are further confused by the not-so-famous engineer Fandango Jones's suspicions of skulduggery and foul play.
