When his wife Jo is offered her dream job, Linc is more than happy to set aside his successful career for a spell and take over the job of running the household and bringing up their three-old daughter Violet. I mean, how hard could it be?
Just until he finds the perfect nanny of course. But it soon becomes apparent that Linc is very good at his new job - maybe too good. The upside is the household is running like clockwork. The downside is he is beginning to feel unappreciated, unattractive and desperate to talk to an adult, any adult.
Most of all, he misses Jo, who is working all hours and barely notices the fabulous dinners he slaves over, much less the husband who cooked them. And then there's Marilyn, the attractive next-door neighbor, who has been so supportive. Something's got to give . . .
At turns funny, neurotic, and endearingly vulnerable, Linc will win your heart - and make you wish you had a househusband all your own.
