Achieving good health is an evolutionary process. You can improve your health and still drink alcohol, eat chocolates, cakes and takeaway food. You can even improve your health and continue to smoke cigarettes. By exercising a few times a week while watching TV most of us can expect a steady improvement in health and happiness. But how do you do it?
The approach is gradual and easily integrated into our lives. There's a host of exercises with instructional photos for both toning and strengthening which can be done on the floor while watching TV. Combine this with two or three 30 minute walks a week and improved dietary balance (no need to go overboard) and you'll be surprised on your improved sense of well-being.
Compared with full-on gym and aerobics which are too strenuous and daunting for many, these methods can last a lifetime, regardless of age or type. It's all common sense really.
