How to improve the quality of our lives by saying "No" to unwelcome requests that consume our time and dissipate our energy.
We can cultivate the power to say "No" effectively and sensitively - even though saying "No" can be one of the hardest words to say for many people. Especially if it means saying "No" to family members or friends (who may want to borrow money or come for a long visit or want you to babysit their kids).
Unless carefully handled, saying "No" can cause hurt feelings, make people angry and leave us feeling very guilty. Yet in many cases "No" is an appropriate answer to unwelcome requests, and we shouldn't feel bad about saying it.
