More and Harder - a fictional erotic autobiography of Mark, an English sadomasochist - draws heavily on the real-life experiences of its author. Its many episodes cover Mark's adventures with a Hell's Angels gang in 1978, when he was first told that he was 'queer', and progress through the 1980s leather biker and gay skinhead culture.After the death of his skinhead lover in 1989, friends put Mark on a Greyhound bus to meet a renowned American military-SM master, and Mark's subsequent experiences as a 'Prisoner of War' open up a rich new seam of fantasies. He describes encounters with commandos, legionnaires and veterans. More and Harder continues on into the late 1990s, where gay squaddies, human ponies and leather SM Internet afficionados abound. The work is presented as letters to Mark's friends - and rarely has a correspondence been so explicitly hot or so forthcoming in the arousingly strict details of military and discipline life.
