Italianissimo 1 is a fully integrated language course that gives the adult beginner a comprehensive and lively introduction to the Italian language and culture. The 288-page full-colour course book is divided into two levels or tracks, each of five units. The fast track (track 1) presents the most basic language in a clear and effective way. You'll learn the minimum of Italian required to get by, but you can easily dip into track 2 material to learn more vocabulary and structures if you wish. Track 2 is for those who want more in-depth knowledge of the Italian language. There are extra explanations of key structures and additional exercises.
