It was just an ordinary Wednesday afternoon when strange things started happening to Jack Jones, an ordinary boy. It began when the teenager behind the counter at the Food Quick turned briefly, and most unexpectedly, into a ferocious pirate. Then, at dinner time, a very talkative parrot landed in Jack’s pasta. Thanks to a treacherous great-great-many-times-great grandfather, Jack Jones has just inherited a Pirate Curse—and is fated to spend the rest of his life running from a fearsome band of bloodthirsty pirates seeking revenge.
