This is a fact.
When Jack and his sidekick Foxie return home to Doggeroo from holiday, they find that there has been a lot of dogs hiding under beds. This mean the town is very quiet, and Jack soon realises he has a new case on his paws. What is terrier-fying the dogs of Doggeroo? Why do they all have ten red bleeding scratches on their noses? Is Fat Molly Cat really the villain? When Jack investigates, he is soon frightened too. How can a dog detective solve the Case of the Awful Pawful when he's hiding under the bed?
'The Awful Pawful' calls for more than a jack-pack attack. Jack has to call a council to war before the streets are safe again and a successful conclusion is reached.
