Billy MacGregor is just crazy about the local kangaroo mob - especially Joey. When the kangaroos are kidnapped, Billy and Joey run away to Sydney to find Joey's parents. There they team up with Linda, the American Ambassador's daughter, who's looking for adventure.
In their search through Sydney's dark streets, Billy, Joey and Linda meet an eccentric animal activist, a bumbling news crew, and a not-so-clever spy. Can this unlikely team save the kangaroos from the evil plans of the Kanga Catcher?
