Kitty has always thought she was allergic to cats, but during a midnight sneezing fit at a sleepover, she learns that the truth is far more magical--Kitty is able to turn into a cat! She eagerly takes her place as the Guardian of the local cats' Cat Council, using her human knowledge to help them solve their feline problems.
It's the start of a new school year, and Kitty volunteers to partner with a kindergarten buddy, Lila. Kitty soon realizes that Lila is shy and is having trouble making friends in her class. Meanwhile, the local cats are worried--they haven't seen the new kitten Suzy in a few days. Kitty realizes that Suzy is Lila's cat, and Suzy had been locked in the house for safety after following Lila to school. Lila and Suzy miss each other throughout the day--can Kitty find a way to help her two new friends?
