This beautiful notebook (blank pages) depicts an artwork created by the Aboriginal artist Peggy Griffiths. Materials used were natural ochre and pigment on canvas. Larrgen is an area of traditional country along the Keep River. The river flows into a loop surrounding a large shallow billabong. The open grasslands are marshy during the wet season. The winds blowing across the open country create movement in the land. Above Larrgen are small hills and antpits. Antpit is eaten for bush medicine. Larrgen was an important camping area for Miriwoong people.
