Inspired by his own service, a career that traced the rise and fall of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria from 2014-2021, one US veteran of the war against ISIS has set out to explore how decisions are made in the heat of the moment and particularly in the face of the enemy. How do you come to terms with the consequences of your decisions, the right ones as well as the tragically wrong ones?
