Sam Davies loves rugby league so much that he sneaks out at night to watch his most despised team, the Salamanders. Pleased when they don't win, Sam sets off home along the dark, near-empty streets. But things get scary when he witnesses something that could be tied up with the missing Fogherty Shield.
Sam is determined to find out more and enlists the help of his friends - Lochie, Jemma and Simon. As Sam investigates, it seems that others are watching him - and if that's not enough, there's the Country coach who's coming to announce the long-awaited rep side.
