A little mouse who lives in a library is encouraged by his spider friend to not give up on his dream of becoming a writer. Quill, the mouse, is a dreamer! He longs to write stories and share them with children in his beloved library. But getting his words noticed seems impossible for such a small creature. AUTHOR: Frances has always loved reading children's books and is delighted to be writing them as well! She studied Archaeology, Anthropology and Classics at the University of Cambridge, and has worked in journalism and as a teacher of English as a Second Language. Her interests include children's literature, theatre and plants. Sophia O'Connor is an illustrator based in Cornwall creating hand drawn illustrations. Her portfolio spans narrative, decorative and reportage illustration. The materials she work with are predominantly pen & ink as well as other mixed media, combining intricate mark making with looser tonal brush strokes.
