Liz Pichon is an award-winning children's book author and illustrator. Her illustrations for Twilight Verses and Moonlight Rhymes won a National Parenting Association Award. She has also written and illustrated Square Eyed Pat and My Big Brother Boris, a Smarties Book Prize Silver Award-winner. Other recent titles include Penguins, The Very Ugly Bug, Bored Bill and A Tale of Two Kitties.Liz studied graphic design at Middlesex Polytechnic and Camberwell School of Art in London. She then worked in the music industry for Jive Records as a designer and art director, organizing photo sessions and designing record and CD covers.
After deciding to go freelance, her work has been used on many different products all over the world. From beach towels for Marks & Spencers to fabric, calendars, mugs and games. She worked with Camden Graphics on several successful ranges of cards, some of which are still selling today.
