A Lord Peter Wimsey novel.
'Thrones, Dominations' is the detailed portrait of the marriage of the no-longer-young Lord Peter and the brooding Harriet Vane, set in well-to-do London society in 1936.
Dorothy L. Sayers began writing 'Thrones, Dominations', her thirteenth Lord Peter Wimsey novel, in 1936, then set it aside. When a fragment, forgotten for many years, was found in her agent's safe, the trustees of the Sayers estate decided to ask the distinguished novelist Jill Paton Walsh to complete it.
The result is this accomplished and ingenious novel, worthy of the mistress of the golden age of the crime novel at her very best.
