Linda Wolfe, herself a friend of one of the victims, recreates the lives of five women who involved themselves with confessed serial killer Ricardo Caputo. From first-person portrayals we learn who these women were and why they were attracted to Caputo. From the individual portraits of these disparate lives emerges the composite portrait of the engaging serial killer who took their lives.
