VIP Standard
Our VIP Standard membership option provides members with the following benefits:

Our VIP Gold membership option provides members with the following benefits:

• Free resubscription to the program if you spend $500 or more in a consecutive 12 month period!
• Free standard shipping for online orders!

Legacy Loyalty
Prior to Nov 2019, our Legacy Loyalty program was available for new members.
While we no longer support sign ups to this program, we do honour our Legacy Gold and Legacy Platinum members and their earned benefits.

- How do I return/cancel my VIP membership?
QBD Books will accept a return/cancellation of an unwanted VIP Membership within 6 weeks of sign up/renewal purchase, at the discretion of management staff.
Please reach out to the customer service team here if you are unsure of the timeframe you can return your membership in.
All VIP Memberships purchased in store must be returned in store for a refund to be given. Refunds cannot be given remotely if the purchase was made in store.

- How do I become a QBD VIP Member?You can join the QBD VIP Program in any QBD store nationwide or by visiting us online here and providing us with a valid email address, contact phone number and name.
The QBD Books VIP Program is a paid membership and the first 12 months subscription fee is taken when you join.
Fees for membership are $25 for standard VIP subscription and $40 for GOLD VIP subscription. - How do I update my VIP membership details?
If you need to update your membership details, please contact our loyalty team by email at loyalty@qbd.com.au with your VIP Membership details and what you would like to update.
You can also request updates and changes to your details by talking to our friendly staff members in your local store.
- How do I link my new VIP membership to my existing online account?
Please log in to the website using your email address and password.
Click 'Loyalty Card' in the left-hand member menu and follow the prompts to join your accounts together.
If you encounter an error, please contact us via our ‘Voucher/Loyalty Enquiry’ contact form.
Let us know your email address and QBD Books loyalty card number and we can connect the accounts for you.
VIP Credit
- How do I use my VIP credit for online orders?
Our QBD online customer accounts are independent to the VIP program, and the accounts must be linked to access the benefits.
When your accounts are linked, you will see the option to use your VIP credit in the checkout as you progress through the payment screens.

- How do I receive my VIP credit for online orders?
A QBD Books VIP program member account must be used at the time of the online order for credit to be automatically earned.
Credit for online purchases will be allocated to a QBD Books VIP member’s account when the order has been finalized and dispatched. This means that you will not see your credit from the purchase until the full order has been completed.
If you have made a purchase and the credit has not added to your account after dispatch, please contact our loyalty team here with your card number and order details and we will investigate for you.
If your account was not linked at the time of purchase, please contact us. Online purchases can be added to your VIP transaction history to earn you credit if your VIP membership was active at the time of purchase.
- Can I earn credit when paying with Afterpay or Zip?No. You cannot accrue credit on transactions completed using the payment methods Afterpay or Zip.
- Can I earn credit when paying with a gift voucher?Credit will not be earned on the redemption of a QBD Books gift voucher and cannot be redeemed to buy a QBD Books gift voucher. However, credit may be earned when purchasing a QBD Book gift voucher.
- What is Held Credit?
Held Credit is always linked to online ordering.
VIP Members can use VIP Credit for online purchases, however online orders can be cancelled before dispatch.
When a member uses their credit for an online purchase, that credit remains in their account under a ‘held’ state until the order has fully dispatched. Once the order has dispatched, the Held Credit will disappear from the account as it has now been used.
Likewise, if the order is cancelled prior to dispatch, the Held Credit will return to the current credit for use without disappearing from the account.

- VIP Membership Sign Up Coupon Terms and Conditions
By participating in the QBD Books VIP Program the participant agrees to these terms and conditions.
Digital discount coupons provide a discount on goods only. Discount applies to eligible transactions only. An eligible transaction is one where the minimum spend on the coupon has been achieved.
Coupons can be redeemed in any QBD Books store or online at www.qbd.com.au.
Coupons valid for one use only. Coupons cannot be used in conjunction with each other. Coupons cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.
Coupons will only be provided digitally to a valid email address. Coupons are valid for 12 months from date of sign up to the QBD Books VIP Program inclusive.
QBD Books are not liable for lost coupons. No change will be issued on this coupon.
Coupons are void once expired.
The $10 Discount Coupon has a minimum purchase requirement of $50.
The $5 Discount Coupon has a minimum purchase requirement of $40.
