Lucky Ones

This is a story about growing up and growing apart. Tom and Cain are best friends, music is their life-blood. As they drift through one summer in 1980s Sydney, life begins to take its toll. Tom's mother leaves the family. Consequently, his family life begins to fall apart. He turns to Cain but even there, the relationship is not what it used to be. Cain is falling in love with the notion of being a musician, falling in love with girls, and turning more and more to alcohol for solace. But dreams, imagination and being true to one's self carry Tom through the turbulence.
