Magpie Island

Magpie shot off like a bolt from a catapult. He whizzed up into the sky above the hill and then swept down in a fierce circle around the she-oaks, his wings hissing through the air like knives. Magpie is marooned alone on an island. He is a sad, lonely figure. A castaway. Robinson Crusoe Magpie ... Until young Benny finds him a mate.
