A medallion quilt has a large block in the middle, then a series of small blocks pieced into strips to form a thin border. Typically medallion quilts can have eight or more different borders, each one needing to fit perfectly around the previous one. The maths involved in making these quilts can be a challenge. Author, Erin Burke Harris takes all the maths out of medallion-making by featuring over 30 blocks in up to nine different complementary sizes so that you can add border after border to your medallion knowing the results will be perfect.
