Mary and Martha were sisters. But they were as different as morning and evening. Martha kept busy all the time. She worked so hard that she forgot to take a rest. Mary was never busy. Instead of helping out around the house, she liked to sit and read books, play hide-and-seek, and daydream.
One day Jesus came to their house for a visit. Martha rushed everywhere, busily cleaning the house and cooking dinner. Mary just sat at Jesus' feet and listened to the wise and wonderful things he said. When Martha got mad at Mary, Jesus taught them a lesson that changed both their lives forever.
