It contains 12 uplifting stories of courage told with candour and humour by the men themselves with the primary aim of providing a source of hope, comfort and inspiration to other men diagnosed with cancer – together with their families, friends and colleagues.
The men are young – some aged 39, 28, 40, 27 – and all younger than 45 when the bad news came.
Their cancers all differ – prostate, testicular, melanoma and brain and kidney tumours.
They are lovers, brothers, husbands and fathers.
They are all survivors – and their stories are life-affirming and inspiring.
