Minton loves things that move - boats, planes, cars, trucks - and he finds just what he needs to make them. Now he's going to make a submarine to take him and Turtle back to their island home. But Turtle is nervous about deep-sea monsters, and although they escape a shark they surface near the north pole. How will they get home from there? As usual, Turtle is very gloomy about the prospect.
