Mirrors dating from Egypt's New Kingdom, circa 1300 B.C., through the Art Nouveau movement at the beginning of the twentieth century A.D. are arranged in chronological groups to demonstrate the gradual development of artistic styles. The rich history of glass production in Europe directly influenced interior design in general and mirror designs in particular.
