Gibson was a successful chef and owned a popular restaurant in New York City. He also had a beautiful loving wife. But, Gibson is the kind of man who can't leave well enough alone. He initially messed up his life when a casual drug habit turned into a life-destroying addiction. He lost his fancy lifestyle, his restaurant and his wife. After rehab, he resides in a halfway house, creating gourmet meals out of scraps. His tasty food attracts the attention of two shady women who approach him about a job, as a chef for a celebrity. Gibson doesn't have a good feeling about the ladies or their invitation, but he convinces himself that if he gets the job he could possibly get his wife back, who he misses desperately. When Gibson lands the job with Monster, a popular music performer, he is first asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. His first night alone, in his bungalow, on Monster's compound, he has an eerie feeling that trouble is still following him. To relieve his mind, he strolls through the garden looking for fresh food to create raw food recipes to cater to Monster's new preference, when he meets Manny. The gardener warns him not to walk around at night; to keep his eyes closed; and his mouth locked. A few nights later, Gibson discovers a dead body near his quarters, and is certain his life will become a lot worse-and it does.
