Bear and his friend Little Bird have found a new pet. She's a fish! They call her Splash, and the two friends spend all their time with her - watching her swim, telling her stories, and even taking her shopping. As the weeks pass, Splash gets bigger . . . and bigger . . . and bigger, and she seems to be growing wings. Or are those paws? Little Bird is convinced she's turning into a beautiful bird like him, but Bear insists she's growing into a big strong bear. The two friends argue, and then, in a huff, stop speaking to each other. Just what is Splash becoming? And will Bear and Little Bird's friendship survive?
