Barbie's won the lottery and she's offering a huge reward to anyone who can prove if her missing husband is dead or alive - throw in a sociopathic bounty hunter, and you have all the ingredients for Hautman's funniest work yet!
Barbie thought she and her husband Bill loved each other - right up to the day when he disappeared. Since then, she's lived the quiet life - quietly desperate. Now, though, she's won the lottery and declared that she's willing to pay $100,000 to find out whether her husband is dead or alive.
Bill is alive and this reward means he has a whole bunch of problems. Most important of all is that a sociopath named Todd knows who and where he is and has decided that it doesn't matter whether he brings Bill back dead or alive. The way Todd figures it, he should get the money either way. The result is that this combo of cash and a killer shows Barbie that the skills she developed handling twenty screaming nine-year-olds are just what she needs to cope with this situation.
